“The Kádár Restaurant in Klauzál Square is reopening. The legendary Pest eatery closed during Covid and never opened afterwards. Károly Gerendai has recently bought the property and the brand and, after some essential renovations, will reopen the restaurant, founded by Béla Kádár in 1957 and run by Sándor Orbán until its closure, in the autumn. The concept will be one of what guests have become accustomed to over the decades, with one small exception.”
