In 1994, the Degenfeld family revived their vineyard in Bergalja, where nature-conscious cultivation and tradition are combined in the wines produced. Their 35 hectares of vineyards are located on the border of Mád and Tarcal, and since 2009 they have been cultivated in a controlled organic way, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the balance between the vine and nature.
Their main ambition is to present the Tokaj wine region and its enormous potential, and to promote sustainable viticulture.
