Where is the festival located?
Millenáris (1024 Budapest, Kis Rókus str. 16–20.) Map
The Park is located in the area bordered by Lövőház Street, Fény Street, Kis Rókus Street, and Marczibányi Square.
The main entrance to the Festival opens from Fény Street.
By public transport
Millenáris is located a few hundred meters from the busy hub of Buda, Széll Kálmán Square, in the immediate vicinity of the Mammut shopping center.
Széll Kálmán Square can be reached by:
- by tram: 4, 6, 17, 56, 56A, 59, 59A, 59B, 61
- by bus: 5, 16, 16A, 21, 21A, 22, 22A, 39, 57, 91, 102, 116, 128, 129, 139, 140, 140A, 149, 155, 156, 221, 222
- by metro: line 2 (red)
- by long-distance bus
Széna Square can be reached by tram: 4, 6, 17
By car and other vehicles
Parking is minimal near the venue, so please use public transport to the event if possible! It is prohibited to enter the event venue by car, motorbike or any other means of transport (except for vehicles for the disabled)!
Parking, bicycle storage
Parking is possible in the immediate vicinity of Millenáris, in public areas. Guarded parking lots are located next to the Mammut shopping center, under Millenáris from Kisrókus street (Széllkapu and Millenáris Underground Parking) and in the Marczibányi Sports Center.
There is a bicycle storage room at the entrance to Millenáris.

Where can I buy a ticket
Buy your tickets online in our webshop at a discounted price for the duration of the event! You can also buy tickets on site during the festival. You can also buy your tickets online with a SZÉP card or at the festival venue. Please note that the festival venue has limited capacity, so tickets may sell out depending on attendance! Buy your tickets in advance to avoid queuing and unpleasant surprises!
Important information:
There is no processing fee when paying online with a SZÉP Card.
Please notify the cashier in advance of your request for a VAT invoice. If you would like an invoice for your consumption, you must notify the merchant before payment.

General ticket information
- We will exchange your ticket (online voucher) for a wristband at the entrance.
- The wristbands are not linked to a person, the first person to present your ticket’s unique ID will receive the wristband.
- Please take extra care to ensure that no one else has access to your ticket. Unfortunately, if someone else has already redeemed the ticket with your ID, we will not be able to issue you with a wristband. The Island will not be held liable for any misuse of your ticket.
- The ticket does not include the price of exhibitor menus and drinks.
Keep your purchased ticket safe and make sure that no one can make a copy of your ticket. If you are travelling by official means ( Gourmet webshop vagy más regisztrált jegyárusító hely) vásárlod meg, és biztonságosan megőrzöd jegyedet, biztosan nem lesz probléma a bejutással.
We will exchange your ticket (online voucher) for a wristband at the entrance.Wristbands
- You will receive your wristband when you redeem your voucher. Only wristbands placed on your wrist are valid.
- A damaged wristband – one that has been glued over, cut, has a broken snap, is larger than the palm of your hand, has been manipulated in any other way, etc. – is invalid.
- The wristband is not transferable.
- Sziget will not replace or replace damaged or lost wristbands.
Sziget will initiate proceedings against ticket counterfeiters and those who assist in counterfeiting. - The Organizers reserve the right to change the program.
Instead of a car, choose our official car sharing partner, WIGO, or arrive by taxi, so you don’t have to fight for parking spaces and can enjoy a glass or two of wine.
Children at the festival
Children under the age of 14 (fourteenth) may attend the Event free of charge, but must wear a children’s wristband.
The attendant is required to write the child’s name and the attendant’s telephone number on the child’s wristband. Child wristbands can be requested upon entry. A maximum of two children are allowed to enter with one attendant. The Zöld Péter Folktale Playground and children’s programs await the little ones at the festival area.

Can I exchange my ticket?
Please note that purchased tickets are non-refundable!
Can’t come to the festival?
Sell your tickets on a 100% trusted platform, with our official partner: Ticketswapen. Since the dinners are not personalized, you can give your ticket to someone else or resell it on Ticketswapen.
What should I do if I forgot my ticket at home?
You will definitely need your ticket’s unique identification code (barcode or QR code) to enter. So, it’s best not to forget it at home! If you have it in PDF format on your smartphone, we will accept that too!
We are not in a position to replace a photographed runner with a wristband.
PAYMENT AT THE FESTIVAL
Payment with wristband
At the Gourmet Festival, you can pay for everything quickly and conveniently, without cash, with your wristband. You can top up your wristband via your festival account or with cash and a bank card at the festival site. When paying, you just need to touch the wristband to the card reader terminal.
Payment by contactless card or phone
Bring your contactless card with you and pay for everything with a touch. You can also pay with a payment-enabled mobile phone and other contactless devices. before payment.
Recharge via charging points
You can top up your wristband with the desired balance at the TOP-UP POINT at the festival venue. The minimum amount for the first top-up is HUF 2000 (then min. HUF 1000 thereafter), but you can top up up to HUF 400 000 at a time. Your balance can be topped up again at any time during the event. You can top up your wristband with cash or credit card (both for a fee of HUF 500).
It is not possible to top up the wristband from a SZÉP card.
Upload via your festival account
To easily top up your wristband at the festival, create a Festival account here, then follow the steps in the Wristband Top-up menu.
Once you have entered the event, you can simply add your wristband to your festival account. To do this, you need: a valid bank card suitable for online payments (VISA and Mastercard only), wristband + PIN code and your email address. You can find the PIN code on the small piece of paper that came with your wristband or you can use the last 4 characters of your voucher number (which can be found under the QR code). If you don’t have any of these, visit a ticket or Festipay helpdesk and we will help you!
If you have topped up your balance, it will be automatically activated for the next payment when your balance is too low, or you can request to have your top-up activated for the next payment. To do this, press button 7 on the terminal.
The transaction fee for loading the wristband is 500 HUF in all cases.
Balance inquiry and transfer
Your balance can be checked at all wristband reader terminals at merchants – you just need to touch your wristband to the reader – as well as at top-up points.
If you have created a festival account and assigned your wristband, you can easily track your consumption in your account.
It is possible to transfer balances at the cash register.
Claiming a refund for remaining balance
Recovery of the remaining balance:
If you have topped up your balance at a top-up point, you can claim your money back at the top-up point in cash or by credit card. In case of a cash refund, you can get your refund back by rounding up to HUF 50. If the refund exceeds HUF 20,000, the staff at the recharge point may ask for proof of your identity.
You can only claim money back at the recharge point during the recharge point’s opening hours. Any amount not redeemed by the final closing time of the recharge points cannot be refunded in any other way! Please don’t leave it to the last minute to claim your money back!

If you have topped up your balance via a festival account, the remaining balance will be automatically refunded within 30 days of the event (minus a refund fee of HUF 500). Please use a credit card that does not expire within 2 months of the event, otherwise we cannot guarantee a 30-day refund due to the lengthy banking process.
You cannot reclaim a balance that you have topped up in a Festival Account at a top-up point, and we will not refund money topped up at a top-up point via a Festival Account. If you have topped up your balance both ways, you can reclaim the remainder of your top-ups separately as described above.
How to disable a lost/damaged wristband?
You can block a damaged or lost wristband and its associated balance at the Helpdesk on site with your PIN code, if you have previously registered it in your Festival account.
WHAT CAN I BRING WITH ME?
What can I bring with me?
You can bring in non-alcoholic beverages in one PET bottle of a maximum capacity of 2.5 liters.

Please leave it at home.
Alcoholic beverages and food in any quantity cannot be brought into the festival area! Everyone is required to hand over such products to the security service for inspection at the entrance. It is FORBIDDEN to bring glass objects, impact or cutting tools, or any object that endangers the physical integrity of others into the festival area! According to the current legislation, you cannot keep so-called objects that are particularly dangerous to public safety (knives with a cutting edge larger than 8 cm, spring knives, gas spray, lead batons, etc.), this is considered a violation. You can read the exact list of prohibited objects in point 4 of our House Rules.

Does the event consider people with disabilities?
We also welcome visitors with limited mobility to the event, and a separate bathroom is available for guests with special needs in the event area.
First Aid
During the Festival, there will be a medical emergency service at the first aid point marked on the map, so please feel free to contact them!
How does glass rental work?
You can rent professional wine glasses on site at our Glass Rental Point. You can buy a coupon for this when you exchange your ticket on site and upon entry, or you can also ask for a glass for cash at the Glass Rental Point. The glass costs 2000 HUF, which we will refund if you return the glass to the rental point in good condition, or you can even take it home with you.
You can return a maximum of 6 glasses at a time. The Glass Rental Point closes at the end of the event, please do not postpone returning your glass until the last minute!
Lost and found items
If you have lost something, please inquire at the Info Point located at the Fény Street entrance. If you have found something, please drop it off there so that we can return it to its owner.
Taking photos and videos at the festival
Amateur photography is of course possible for personal purposes, but professional photography of the programs (for sale or publication purposes) requires the written consent of the organizers. Press representatives can request permission to make recordings at [email protected]. It is important to know: in order to show the diversity of the Gourmet Festival to as many people as possible, audio and video recordings of the event will be made. All participants who appear in the recordings may only be named with their consent, but no claims may be made against the makers of the recording or the event organizers. VOLUNTEERING
Who can volunteer?
You can volunteer for the Gourmet Festival from the age of 16. One of the conditions of participation is that you must be committed for the entire duration of the event (22-25 May).
How can I apply to volunteer?
You can register as a volunteer at www.fesztivalonkentes.hu by clicking on the “Events” tab after registration and via the link below.
What are the volunteers' tasks?
Volunteers will be required to work 3 shifts during the event at the festival’s Glass Rental Point, where they are responsible for mechanically cleaning returned glasses and replenishing the warehouse. A shift is 4 and a half hours for those under 18, and 6 hours for those over 18.
What do volunteers get?
Volunteers will receive a festival pass and one meal per day as part of the organizing team.
Can I perform School Community Service (IKSZ) at the event?
Yes, you can complete 14 hours of School Community Service at the event if you are under 18 years old, and 18 hours if you are over 18 years old.
