The best Italian sparkling-wine will be coming to Millenaris
There’s a 100-year-old sparkling-wine, which according to its Italian creator gives back Italian hospitality, and is mentioned among the best of the best. What else would its name be, but Ferrari?
While this year’s Gourmet highlights beer, Hungary’s highest-rated gastronomy festival be held without sparkling-wine. Ferrari, located in Trento, has been the best Italian sparkling-wine since 1902, the irresistibly elegant bubbles embody the Italian love of life. Their 2006 riserva rosé sparkling-wine just received 98 points from the Wine Advocate magazine, which is the highest score that any Italian sparkling-wine has received. Giulio Ferrari founded the company and is now represented by the family’s third generation.
There will be two programs where you will be able to find the Ferrari sparkling-wine: on Saturday at the country’s recently best-elected Strand restaurant headed by Tamás Széll and Szabina Szulló who will prepare an exclusive lunch menu, followed by a master class you can take part in, where the sparkling-wine house’s expert will present a special selection from the brand’s best. Details coming soon. Sign up for our newsletter in the meantime to be among the first notified about when programs and workshops can be booked.
